Automatic Day Trader / ADT

A defined process.
An inspectable system.

Automatic Day Trader builds desktop software that connects research, execution rules and broker-confirmed position monitoring.

Automatic Day Trader is ADT.

ADT is the shorthand used throughout the application. Automatic Day Trader is the expanded product name and the publisher of this website at automaticdaytrader.com.

The application coordinates scheduled research, a validated candidate decision, defined entry and exit rules, and Interactive Brokers account state. It is software operated in your own environment. It is not a brokerage, custody service or managed investment account.

Execution should be explainable.

The desktop interface and local service have separate responsibilities. The interface presents the session and controls. The service keeps its records, processes broker events and applies the configured strategy. Broker orders, executions and positions are reconciled against local state after interruptions.

This approach supports inspection of what the software requested and what the broker reported. It does not eliminate market risk, software defects or operating responsibilities. Read the architecture, execution workflow and risk disclosure.

A specific product with explicit limits.

The current workflow is eligible US stocks and broad ETFs, long-only whole shares and a configurable maximum of entries per session through IBKR. ADT Desktop is built for Mac and Windows. The Mac package targets Apple silicon on macOS 13 or later; the Windows package targets Intel/AMD x64 and is currently a testing release. Platform requirements and validation status are documented in the operator guide.

Access is guided. Distribution, compatibility, licensing and support arrangements are confirmed before purchase. The website publishes package pricing and accepts inquiries; it does not provide an unrestricted download or self-service checkout. The workstation offer is clearly labeled as planned.

Product images render the actual application with isolated fictional data. They are not a performance record. No historical returns, assets under management, customer count or broker endorsement is claimed.

How the documentation is written.

Company-authored guides are attributed to Automatic Day Trader. ADT-specific statements are checked against the implementation and operator documentation. External broker and regulatory details link to primary sources so readers can inspect current requirements.

Publication dates identify the initial release of each guide. Modification dates change for substantive content revisions, not routine builds. A source review does not imply an independent financial, legal or security certification.

Educational materials distinguish general system concepts, implemented behavior and planned capabilities. Comparisons explain categories and evaluation criteria; they do not invent competitor tests or rank products by unverified results. If a statement is unclear or outdated, send a correction with the page and relevant detail.
