Confirm your environment.
ADT Desktop is built for Mac and Windows: Apple silicon on macOS 13 or later, or an Intel/AMD Windows x64 computer. Both use your IBKR account, IB Gateway or TWS and a configured research provider. Windows access currently uses a testing release; guided setup confirms platform readiness and availability before purchase.

Broker commissions and fees, market-data subscriptions, research and search API usage, trading capital and computer or hosting costs are separate. Your provider choices and usage determine these amounts. Cloud research uses your own API account. A suitable local model with keyless public news avoids cloud-token and search-API charges, while machine, broker and data costs may still apply.
Support scope
Support covers installing, configuring and using ADT. Custom development, account management, trade recommendations and continuous session monitoring are outside the package. Support hours, cancellation and refund terms are confirmed in writing before purchase.
Updates are supplied as releases; the current desktop application does not update automatically.

No recurring ADT license fee to keep using your purchased version. Continued updates and support after the included year would be available through optional maintenance, with pricing confirmed before purchase.
Broker and data fees, paid search or optional cloud-model usage, internet and hardware replacement are separate. Future compatibility and new major versions are not included indefinitely.

Hardware specifications, local-model performance, warranty, shipping and final purchase terms are still being validated. This is an inquiry for a planned package, not an order or reservation. No payment is collected and no delivery date is promised.
Is the setup fee paid every year?
No. The $1,000 guided setup fee is charged once. The recurring software subscription is $250/month or $2,500/year.
What is due before I get access?
After compatibility and availability are confirmed and you accept the purchase terms, the monthly option begins with $1,250: setup plus the first month. The annual option begins with $3,500: setup plus the first year. Applicable taxes are additional. Sending an inquiry does not charge you.
How does cancellation work?
You can cancel future subscription renewals before the next billing date. The written purchase terms confirm the cancellation process, access through the paid period and the applicable refund policy before you pay.
Is there a free trial?
There is no self-service trial during the guided rollout. You can explore the real interface through the website walkthrough and discuss the product before purchasing. The onboarding paper session is for setup and training; it does not establish profitability.
Does the package include a trading account or research credits?
No. You use your own IBKR account and research-provider credentials. Related fees and usage charges are paid directly to those providers. The local-model option can use free public news discovery; it still requires fresh, usable evidence and appropriate broker data.
